Happy Friday Ladies!! Lets do something a little different today!!

Leave a post for a few of your favorite posters..  Like "I really admire _____ about you", or "You have great style/ideas/advice".  Something to make all the MB's feel good today!! It's up to you how many ladies you'd like to mention, but let's try not to leave anyone out (we haven't really had any new intros lately, but if a newbie has posted and you liked what they had to say go for it!)...

    Beach-You definatly have mastered the art of sarcasm.
    Hike-I think you are a really great mod.  You've totally turned the board around I think..
    Stan-I've always admired you as a poster & a person.  Admittedly, I was intimidated by you when I first started posting, but now that I've gotten to understand you a little better, I get it.
    C- I appreciate you, mucho!! and I think you're right about sharing a pinterest account.. it would save time
    GG- I miss our emails!! And I Loooovvve your taste in books!!
    AMH- I love your hair, and all of your pins, and I feel like we would get along really well IRL.
    CAB-I really like your blog, and your cake topper is going to be adorable!!

    More to come.. I have got to get ready for school & work!!

    Oh gosh, I like this idea but I'm always afraid I'll forget someone!  So I'm just going to post things for the people who comment in this thread so no one gets offended if I skip them - I'll update it as people post throughout the day.

    Sammi - you really are like the little sister I never had.  It's pretty funny how we have practically the same taste in all the various topics on Pinterest!  And I'm so grateful for all the thoughtful things you've done for me, from supportive emails to care packages when I was feeling down.  It means the world to me, and it's all the more surprising since we've never actually met.

    ETA:  CAB, you're very sweet.  I don't know you very well yet, but I feel like you've made a great addition to the board.  You are always thoughtful and caring in your responses to people.  I think people like you keep us from being big meanie-heads to some of the crazier people who come on the board.

    Stan, you're hilarious.  At first you were a bit intense for me with your love of the USMC, but I think you're pretty soft-and-fuzzy inside.  It's people like you - dedicated, disciplined, honest, proud, and straight-forward - who we need leading our troops, so I can't wait until the day you go to OCS (I'll send care packages for when you get liberty)!

    Firsttimer, Hike, Calindi, and SamiJoe, you guys seriously made my day this morning with your concerns about my FMIL situation. Thank you!

    And to EVERYONE on this board. You are alll so supportive and sweet and seriously excite me about being an (eventually) army wife. I look forward to this because of this board! Yesterday when I posted on the QOTD about "I will spare you the stupid details", I was feeling like I would be boring you all with my woes about moving in with my FMIL, but that is obviously not the case and I promise to fill you all in on every little detail of my liffffe! LOL!

    Oh, and lastly, SamiJoe, thank you about the comments about my blog. I was so nervous about sharing it here, but you keep reassuring me that its not dumb, and it seriously means the WORLD to me!

    Hike - I was all, like, BOO, no mod! Now I'm all like, YAY!
    Sammy - Know it or not, on or not because of this bet, you going forward with your package keeps me motivated!
    Sami - If you had an FB, I would be FB friends with you, and I'm picky man.
    Beach - I think of all people on MB, I agree with you the most and most often
    Cal - I can always count on you to be honest. Also, you and 3 are super cute!!

    Also, I suck at remembering (like Cal), so I'll just say I really used to hate this board and just kind of felt like I had to come on so we didn't have Marine E5s in white trousers or MARPAT offbase. I pretty much don't hate this board anymore, and that's because 99% of you refuse to be beebees!

    I just started posting here a few weeks ago, but here is what I have to say about you ladies so far!

    Stan, Firsttimer, Beach, SamiJoe, Calindi, ggirl-  You all give really good advice and you tell it like it is, without being rude.  I like that :)

    Hike-I lurked on this board every once in awhile before you were the Mod and it was never this active.  You're a great Mod!  I love that you love pittsburgh too!

    There honestly isn't a single person on this board I DON'T like.  You all get along so great.  I look forward to learning more from you ladies.  Thanks!

    Even though I'm not as new any more, you guys were seriously awesome and so welcoming.
    Cal- You are a font of good advice. I like the cut of your jib.
    Beach- I mostly always agreed with you back when I was a lurker, and then I didn't see you as much here. Now I'm seeing you on here more, and I love it.
    Sami-You intimidated me a little as a lurker, but every time you give advice you've really thought about the problem at hand or been through it, and I appreciate that so much.
    Stan- I will never speak ill of the Marines. Ever. Your respect for something greater than yourself is something I aspire to.
    FTL- You are hilarious. And I'm so looking forward to pics.
    Hike- I love having you as a mod here. My local board is pretty dead, and I'm now not totally sure on my month. I post other places, but I'm happy to call this my home board, and it's great to have new and interesting conversations every day.
    CAB-Your hair is gorgeous.

    Will add as the day goes on for a bit, we're driving home this afternoon :)

    Beach-You totally made me feel the most comfortable on the board. Probably because of some similiarities that we have (don't want to put too much on here, but you know what I mean) and your sarcasm I love
    Sami-I just love you! I miss our emails and I love how blunt you can be.
    Stan-Yeah ditto everyone else on the intimidation piece haha, but then I also realized I learned a lot about the USMC from lurking, and things I didn't want to ask my H for whatever reason
    Cal-I love the way you phrase things, it can be blunt, but diplomatic as well.
    FTL-You seem so optimistic that's refreshing to read.
    Hike-I love you as a mod!! I was happy when you got it
    To the newer posters Cab, Amh, Bee, etc, I can't remember you all, but I love that you fit in and aren't all about validating bad ideas :)

    You girls all give awesome advice!  You're blunt and to the point and I appreciate that.  You're all fun and I've enjoyed posting and reading posts on here.  I was a little intimidated before ever posting but everything you guys have ever said I've agreed with and your spot on.  You know your stuff!  You're really nice and fun and you're all about keeping everyone in the military safe, which is great!  I look up to you all a lot.  You know a lot and because of all of you I'm learning so much more (and at times shocking the hell out of FI for knowing what I know. In a good way of course lol ;) )  
    I've gone to other boards and posted but this one is my fav by far. 
    Most people on here are awesome :)
