Casa Blanca at Brushy Creek

I've been trying to contact someone at the venue Casa Blanca on Brushy Creek and I haven't had any luck.  I currently live out of town so I haven't been able to drive by. I am interested in looking at the venue.  Does anyone know if they are closed? Thanks.

I know there are several brides on this board getting married there so they're not closed.

I looked at that venue and while it was soo pretty - I thought the staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional. The only way we could see the venue was at their open house with a bunch of other people. Every other venue we looked at we were able to make an appointment so we could really talk to the coordinator one on one. I got a really bad vibe from the guy at Casa Blanca - he seemed like he could have really cared less about us. I requested a packet with pricing in information (which they did not have at their open house - I found that odd). It took him several days, and several calls for him to actually respond. When he did respond he called me by the wrong name - which I thought was very unprofessional. Sure anyone can get a name wrong but after how many e-mails/messages I had to leave him you would have thought he could have got it right. We looked for venues in May of 2009 so things could be different now but I know that we ruled out Casa Blanca as a venue because we didn't want to deal with this guy throughout the whole wedding planning process.

I am a Casa Blanca bride. I know exactly what guy your are talking about knsbride, he is no longer there. He was actually an outside vendor. I got a bad vibe from him to but I went back for a seperate visit and met wit LeAnne and it was totally different. If you want to contact anyone from Casa you need to talk to LeAnne. She is the owner and coordinator. If you want her cell phone number PM me and I will gladly give it to you. You can defenetly set up a private tour there. I have been on 3 occasions when I was the only bride there, 2 open houses, and 1 catering tasting. They do have other jobs, so she is busy, but she will make time for you. PM for her number!!!

You can set up a private tour. LeAnn is a bit eccentric, but she is good at what she does and she is really nice. Ive been there 4 times as well, for a tour, when I went to put down our deposit, to meet with the DJ, and again with I visited with another bride to get the space arrangements pinned down so we could order linens. Only the DJ meeting was during their normal open house hours.

LeAnn is bad with email, but she is usually reachable on her cell.

Thank you, jedaniel!  I'm new to The Knot and haven't been able to fully figure out the site.  When I hit private message it keeps taking me to my main site.  I would like her number.  Her email inbox is full and I don't get a reponse when I email the info address.  One of the numbers is out of service.

How do you private message someone?  Also, can you tell me if you have to use their DJ, flowers, cake, etc.  Thanks for your help!!!!!

Tree, you don't have to use any of their vendors. Don't let them tell you that you do.

DO NOT waste your time.  The food sucks,  they are overpriced, under staffed,  and the owners are no good swindlers.  You can find much MUCH better places in Austin!
