questions about cd player or ipod ceremony music

I have a couple of songs picked out so far for my ceremony but was wondering about how to play a song from the 2 minute point on for our recessional.  I actually don't know anything about an Ipod but was thinking about getting one & good quality speakers on ebay for the wedding.. The wedding planner said she has a cd player I could use if I just burned a cd.  Is it possible to just burn part of a song? (been awhile since I've even done that)  Or can you do that with an Ipod.. just start a song where you want it without having to skip through anything??

    Sure - you can burn just part of a song, you just have to cut the audio file before you burn it to a cd.  You don't need an iPod but you will need a computer.

    Another question.. I was wanting an instrumental version of "Your Song" by Elton John, I guess there aren't any on itunes, is it possible to download a version I like from youtube.. or how do I get one??

    Actually there are several on iTunes - you can take your pick!

    Search "Your Song Instrumental" and a bunch will come up.  Some of them are weird (like a house music version), but there are a couple really pretty ones too. 

    My favorites are:

    by an artist named John Bayless on his album called "The Circle of Life - Bach Improvisations on Themes by Elton John"

    the one from an album called "Instrumental Guitar Music - Top 10 Love Songs"

    and a really pretty piano version by "Gitte Degn Calstrup" from the album "En Sang Pa Vejen"
