Could you please give me some suggestions as to nice/upper middle class areas/suburbs for me start researching for a very in the near future move for my IL's?

    I'd avoid Sanford altogether. Lake Mary and Heathrow are nice if you're looking around that area.  Also, Winter SPrings.

    we live in a pretty amazing neighborhood in sanford. some parts of sanford are impossible to distinguish from lake mary. west of i4 is good sanford. we actually chose our neighborhood over oviedo and winter springs, where we also looked at homes, because we fell in love with it. so don't completely knock sanford just because east sanford is bad. :)
