Any August brides?

We will be getting married at Castle Hill in Newport but are still deciding on a date.  We had our minds set on Sept or Oct of 2012, but now I am wondering if we should do August instead.  It would be the last week in August.  I am just afraid it will be so hot, and my fiance really sweats.  Our ceremony will be outside.  We liked Sept because it is still beautiful but it is slightly cooler.  Problem is my bday is sept. 25th and I don't want our anniversary to be jammed next to my bday.

    Hey
    I got married on August 21 and I was nervous about hurricane's, humidity, etc.  It was one of the most beautiful days of the summer...the prior summer it was torrential rain...one thing I learned you can't control the weather so I would go with either the last weekend of Augst or after Labor Day....good luck, whatever date it will be awesome!

    Hi Shaina! its Jen. I meant to email you back BTW. Anyway- I am getting married as you know August 25th. THis year that happened to be the weekend hurricane irene came through. I'm hoping that now that the hurricane passed this year we won't see another one.

    August you have to worry about humidity. but the last week of August might not be so bad, the weather really starts to change.

    I hear ya on the bday thing. Out 2nd date we thought about was Sept 2nd- but it was too close to my bday on the 10th! I dind't always want to celebrate the two together (is that so selfish). I already ahve to share bday celebrations w my bff and my dad and my parents anniversary. And i didnt want it to be "all cclumped in" with everything else. I wanted it to have its ownl day :)

    Yes!  Paul doesn't get the whole being close to my bday thing... but I really would like special occasions spread out.  It is much more fun that way and you have something to look forward to.

    Hi, we're getting married August 18th, which happens to be 3 days after my birthday! I don't mind sharing too much though because my fiance's birthday is right between Christmas and New Years! This way I figured if he forgets my birthday it's a reminder for the anniversary! I'm praying that the weather is gorgeous because ours is outdoors as well! Good luck!
