Just a heads up to those of you shopping at DB:  They are up for auction <-click!

Not sure what that means for thier future, but I'd say be leary. I've seen a few posts recently about girls ordering dresses from DB and having them discontinued right after, or saying they had until X date to order them, then a few days before the cut off date not letting them order. Just be careful. Don't want another PoB incident, or that other place that shut down without notice in NJ a few weeks ago.

    Yikes! I bought my dress there - it's supposed to be in by the end of the summer.. hopefully that still happens!

    I've been sooo turned off of David's Bridal after reading some of the posts people have made on TK about the service they've received from them.. so, I'm steering clear of them.. I hope other brides who have used them will not feel the effects of this :(

    I don't plan on going there. I appluad the girls who go there and get good service and find nice dresses, but personally I'm not a huge fan. I figure if I'm dropping money on my dream wedding dress I'd rather it be made then buy off the racks. I've also heard horror stories of their services. I went there once with my bridal party to try on BM dresses and we had a pretty mediocre experience. Our consultant just bailed on us half way through the appointment. It super sucked. We ended up going right across the street to Alfred Angelo before the appointment was even over.

    Also DB gives out your information to what feels like everyone! I have gotten up to 3 calls in one day from a tux shop near me they gave my info to. I've also gotten calls/texts/e-mails about honeymoons, invitations and otehr random things all because they gave out my cell phone number and e-mail address. I'm so beyond mad at them for getting me spammed so much by places I don't want to work with/have never heard of. Oh and I had a crappy experience there and bought my dress somewhere else.

    Yeah, they gave out my phone number and email address as well. I wish I was smart enough to make a wedding specifc email address so afterwards I don't ever have to look at all the spam again. Live and learn I guess.

    Wow thanks for the heads up. I was planning on going Sunday with my mom when I get to Colorado. We were just going to look and get an idea of what styles work for me but now we may have to make other plans.
