BOSTON PLAYERS!!!! They were amazing! We just got married late June at The Wequassett. The Wequassett suggested them! Totally totally worth it! Andre was so great to work with. When the lights came on at the end of the night people were shocked it was over. The floor was packed ALL NIGHT LONG!

Panneubean Steel!  They are a carribbean style 5 piece band but they play all types of music and are absolutely fantastic!  They definitely keep a group going!  I didn't use them for my wedding (DH's friend is a DJ so we couldn't compare with THAT rate of almost nothing) but I have been to events where they play and they are wonderful! They are actually playing in Wellfleet on Saturday if you want to check them out!

We used GQ and the Lady for our 6/19/10 wedding and they were awesome.  They were able to play some older classic and laid back songs (Sinatra, Beatle, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson) during dinner, and then lots of fun dancing songs (Journey, Bon Jovi, 80s stuff) afterwards.  Our guests really enjoyed them and I had a positive experience working with Linda, one of their lead singers, over the past year.  They play in Boston and Rhode Island regularly, so we went to check them out a few times before booking.

Two other bands we really liked when looking were Modern Manners and Plaid Daddy.  Good luck :)
