Is this a good deal?!?

Hi ladies,

So i have been searching around for photographers and a dj as well as an officiant. I am not really sure whats a good deal or average price but I did find a photographer who is awesome. Originally i was quoted a much much higher price but I was able to get him to 3 hours for $599. i think its a steal cause originally he quoted me for $1300 for the day. After explaining its a smaller event and isnt going to be an all day deal, i think this is good. And i am very happy with his work I have seen. The DJ will do for $475 for 3 hours and i know your probably thinking its a short reception but it works for us. As for an officiant i have only recieved one quote at $225. Is that average? Nobody I have asked knows.  After reading alot of posts and searching myself I think i did good. i live in Florida as well so alot of things are way more expensive.  And the venue is at a country club ...wedding and reception with dinner, horderves, tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glasses, serving staff for about $4400. We are paying for everything ourselves and these are all local vendors so hope it all works out.  :-)

I've done a lot of shopping around and can tell you those are all good prices, with the exception of the DJ. I don't know if the DJ price is good simply because we're not having dancing at our wedding so I haven't looked for one.  The officiant's price is about average.  The photograper's price is REALLY inexpensive...do you mind sending his info?  I'm still looking for one:o)

  • The photographer and DJ seem like really good prices but idk about the quality. As for the officiant I just booked ours for 175 which I thought was a really good price.
