How much?

This is my first post and I guess this is the right area...?

My Fiance's cousin is getting married, but we can't make it to the wedding. They didn't register ANYWHERE (or at least no where that I can find online) So we've decided to send them money. My Fiance` said he wanted to send the cousin and his bride $100-$150, but I was thinking about $200-$250.

Is this too much, not enough or just right? I mean they are first cousins and did grow up together.

    There is no right amount.  Either of those options would be very generous - the only rule is that you don't give more than you can afford to give.

    Personally, I think you should let your FI decide how much to give.  It's his cousin, afterall.

    Also?  If they are in the Atlanta area also, check Charles Willis.  It's the major non-chain fine china shop in ATL.

    I would think that's a VERY generous gift given that you won't even be attending!  It's all up to you and your budget!
