Alger House for wedding reception

Hi,

We're choosing our wedding reception venue shortly for our Spring wedding and wondered if anyone had any input on Alger House and Green Mansions Catering?  We're going to see it tomorrow, but knowing what to look out for would be useful and if people have had good/bad experiences I would appreciate knowing too.

    We're getting married there on October 9th (The Alger House)...and I'm very excited!  We did the "tasting" a few weeks back at The Penthouse, and the food was wonderful!  Sophisticated and complex without being over the top....i.e. not crazy combinations of flavors, etc.

    I love the feel of the Alger House...it's unique, intimate and unusual, which is just what I was looking for.  And it's very pretty, so minimal decor is required, and it'll still look beautiful in the photos...the Garden Room is lovely!  Do tell if you book!

    Ladies who got married at the Alger House - how was it?  And was there a problem with the bathrooms?  My mother is concerned that they are too small/not enough.  I'm hainv about 80 people at the wedding.  Thanks.
