Merion Girls - check our Four Weddings!

So the last wedding of the show tonight was at The Merion! I was only half watching it and I looked up at one point and immdiately recognized the staircase in the Palace Ballroom - I had to rewind it and watch the whole segment again to see what the girls thought of it. I'm glad that I don't have 300 people for my cocktail hour after seeing that! Otherwise, I thought it showed beautifully!

    That's crazy! I actually was thinking of applying for the show, then I realized if I actually got picked that I wouldn't want cameras, and I also wouldn't want to be stuck going to 3 strangers' weddings ha!

    Was that 300 people??? Oh good b/c I was nervous! I am having 240 and worry about the cocktail room upstairs in the skylight but if they had 300 that is not bad

    I was watching too! It was nice...the merion was also on Say Yes to the Dress a couple weeks ago too. They showed a clip of the ceremony in the Palazzo and I think the reception was in the Palace.  I love wedding shows :)

    It was actually 320.... I would have figured they would have been in the Palazzo for that but maybe there was a bigger wedding there that day. It looked very cramped but I think for 240 you should be fine!

    I saw that episode of SYTTD! I get very excited when I see it on tv, haha. I'm a big cheeseball.

    I have the opposite problem. I only have about 125 people so I feel like my ballroom is going to overwhelm my guests but I plan on doing our photo booth in the ballroom so hopefully that helps.

    I know!  It looked so crowded with 320 people.  I am going to have 150 in the Empire Room, so I am glad it won't be so crowded.  I feel like the episode didn't highlight what the Merion really had to offer though... I would have loved to see the Viennese hour!

    I was so excited when I watched and kinda yelled at my TV.  As usual the Merion looked perfect.  I do think the ballroom looking overly crowded and I, personally, wouldn't have chosen to have 320 in the Palace.  I'm actually having my ceremony in the Palace ballroom so I loved being able to reference the show to some long distance friends.  My wedding is going to be from 165-220 people so I'm pretty happy with the way the show looked.....and that the bride won!

    Aw, I missed the Merion on say yes to the dress...maybe I will try to you tube it! they showed the Hamilton Manor too, which is another place we were thinking about but we are so glad we chose the Merion!

    It's on Fridays at 10 on TLC. They normally show last week's episode before it so you can probably still catch it!
