Tux Shops

Does anyone recommend a tux shop in the area?

I went to Men's Wearhouse and wasn't too impressed...I went to President's in the mall and they were better.  We found tuxes we liked for about $125 each.  I would really like to find something even cheaper if possible.  We are paying for all the wedding party's tuxes, so I want them as cheap as possible.

The majority of our groomsmen are not from this area, so I am not sure how it would work if we went with a local tux shop?  Any ideas?

Thanks ladies.

Honestly , a large chain like Men's Wearhouse is perfect for something like that.  My brothers live in Ann Arbor and Atlanta and all got measured in their hometowns, then picked up their tuxes in town.  We used MW and it was fine for our purposes.  We got the cheapest tuxes, I think they were like $70 each b/c we didn't get the extras, like shoes & cufflinks.   We didn't do shoes b/c we got the groomsmen Chuck Taylors as their gifts & to wear in the wedding.  I'm not a person that can tell the difference b/w tuxes, so we went with basic ones to make the cost easier on the groomsmen.

We went to MW because we had to get tuxes for people in 3 different states. CO, CA, and OH.  And they're all getting fitted for their tuxes in their home towns and they're shipping them to the store in Ohio.

    Our's were pretty expensive though.

Try Kanag Tailor’s & Formal Wear in Maumee, OH.  I found there prices to be much cheaper.  I called President and Men's Wearhouse and one place was $150 something and the other was $160 something and Kanag's was $120 something for the ones we wanted, which was a brown tuxedo.  Over half of our bridal party, including ourselves, do not live in the Toledo area, and Kanag's worked with us and we've had no problems so far.  Our guys got measured other places, local to them, and they called the place and gave them their measurements then.  They were very nice, friendly and helpful.
