  Bibliophile:  Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned.  It's always a blast to hang out with friends, especially ones you haven't seen in a while!  I hope you have lots of fun! )
  
  As for me I am just trying to get through school today.  I have an interview today so I am nervous for that, I hope it goes well!  Then tomorrow FI and I are getting engagement pictures done.  It should be a good weekend so I am excited!

  I'm sitting for 3 hour glucose test.  I had to fast for 12 hours, and then I cannot have anything -- not even water -- while I'm here sitting for this test.   I had to drink this drink that tasted like pure sugar.  It was pretty awful.  Then I have to get my blood drawn 4 times.  If I fail 2 of these blood draws, then I get diagnosed with GD and put on the high risk schedule.  Fun times.  I'm praying that I'm not high risk!
  
  I had to take the 1 hour last week, and failed it by 3 points.  (143 and needed to be 140 or under).  23% of people fail the 1 hour, but 67% of those who failed the 1 hour pass the 3 hour.
  
  For the weekend, I plan on staying in the house and building our crib/dresser with DH.  It's going to be 45 degrees for the high tomorrow, so staying inside seems like a perfect idea.

  catarina - I am praying for you as well. That stinks you have had to go through all of that, but at least they will be able to figure things out.
  
  It is going to be a gorgeous weekend here. Tonight we are visitng my friend and thier new baby. Tomorrow we have a bday party for FIL. I hope to spend some time outside as well.
  
  My Mom is begging me to go to a bday party for my Aunt's Dad on Sunday, but it is an hour and a half drive and I have a long day on Monday. She just doesn't understand. Never has and probably never will. But I am not letting her get to me. I was done with that a long time ago.

  Happy Friday!
  
  We had a good day. We went shopping mostly to get DH some new work clothes for his new job which he'll be starting in a little over a week. I'm very excited for him.

  I'm officially on vacation! I survived getting up at 3 a.m. after a scant three hours of sleep and made it through the day. Got to leave work early since I got there so early, and made it home in one piece. Barely, but we did it. 

  
  

  On the negative side, FMIL is being a bit of a 'zilla. Apparently she's a little uncomfortable with our choice of a verse from the Song of Songs for our first reading.

  
  

  I picked up lots of chocolate today. I can't eat any of it - it's for favors and gifts I'm putting in my family's rooms. Yet. <g>

  
  

  I might try one of the stars.

  
  

  FI is here and we are looking forward to watching the Cards kick some Philly butt tonight (sorry, any Philly fans out there). Well, providing I can stay awake.
