Hi! After a few months of trying to come up with a unique favor idea that incorporates my Italian heritage, my fiance and I thought we could have mini bottles of olive oil and vinegar with tags on them that read "the perfect blend" (plus our names and wedding date). Also, my mother really wants us to include the traditional Italian "confetti" into the favors, so we were thinking we could put the bottles of olive oil and vinegar into a nice, color-coordinated box and attach the 5 Jordan almonds wrapped in tulle to the box somehow.
Do you think this is a creative/useful idea? Or would these favors just be left on the table or thrown away? I would really love to make my mother happy AND give my guests something useful and enjoyable! I appreciate any opinions! Thank you so much!
Re: WDYT of this favor idea?
[QUOTE]I like it! My niece and nephew did nips of Tequila for her Mexican heritage and Jamesons Irish Whiskey for his Irish heritage. You could put the bottles in mini buckets filled with the almonds.

they also have them in a round shape which i think would go great with your OO/Vinegar favor: http://www.confettiflowers.com/acatalog/circles-w_folded_300.jpg

to kristi: I don't think that it has to be 5, but this number is supposed to represent health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity. I like your suggestion of trying to include them instead of just attaching them, though! I was trying to envision how they would look on the table, and I think it would look more "cohesive" if I included them in with the oil/vinegar.
to gymbugmj2k: I really love those holders! very elegant/lclassy!
the flower style ones you have to buy each branch separately and form the flower. The 5 stem 'bouquet' ones come already assembled. - both ultimately cost under $1 apiece.
