How many ounces???

We're having lots of sunflowers around and thought we'd do either chocolate covered or salted sunflower seeds as favors. My question is much would you give as a favor... 1/4 cup? 1/8 cup?

If they are in-shell, probably 1/2 cup or 4-5ish ounces. If you're doing just the kernels, probably about 1/3 of a cup or 3-4ish ounces.
