Any experience with Timothy Capp photographer?

Hi knotties.  Has anyone had experience with Timothy Capp photography?  Found him on craigslist, emailed a few times.  He has great prices, is enthusiastic, almost sounds too good to be true.  From google searches I think he is recently located from Tampa, FL, and possibly worked for a different company there and received mixed reviews but mostly positive responses.  It sounds like he is young and not very experienced yet, and that could explain the stellar prices.

I'm hoping someone has experience with him, or even advice on how to "interview" him.

I have a similar post on the Photo board about interview photographers in general.

Thanks everyone!

Not familiar with the photographer, but we were advised to ask to see a whole wedding's worth of shots (or even the semi-edited batch of 500-1000 shots- from what we found, photographers will shoot 2000-3500 or more shots now that they do digital), not just the best 10-20 of a given wedding. Also, since he is newer to the area, he may not have a real network- ask what the backup plan is, if, God forbid, he has to have his appendix out the day of your wedding or something. Ours has been working in the Gorge for over 20 years, and one time it did happen- he broke his hand the day before a wedding, so he hired 2 photographers that he knew well & was at the wedding to direct them, at his cost.

We downloaded this worksheet as a starting point- we were able to get a lot of answers from his website but it helped us think of other things. http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/2012/mwd-112-photographer-documents.pdf

    Good luck!

That is great information, I'm going to use it!

Has anyone used a less-experienced photographer, or someone that had similar fees of $1k for a full day of unlimited shooting?
