Budget Friendly DJs

My FI and I are going to have a punch and cake reception following our wedding at our venue about 45 miles west of Des Moines.  My FI is from a back ground in which every wedding has to have a HUGE party complete with DJ and me, I could live without the DJ and dancing.  We have both agreed to have the smaller reception with a DJ.  Can anyone suggest a DJ that is budget friendly and who doesn't require the job to be 6 hours or more?  We are thinking more like 2-3 hours... suggestions?

I am using Eagle Entertainment DJ...he requires 4 hours and it is $100 per hour and you would have to pay a $50 travel fee...you could e-mail or call him and find out if he would do 2-3 hours instead.

Puttin' on the Hitz - we got the suggestion from another Knottie back in the early planning stages, and we're paying $450 for four hours.
Another suggestion - I'm sure you've heard it - but you can throw a kickin' party with an iPod and some big speakers!  If your reception site has a sound system you can use, and you have a friend who would be willing to keep an eye on things, you could save all that $$$!

We used Nick Walke with Jambox LLC. He was great to work with and flexible with pricing: jamboxllc.com

Mom2One14 is my sis, and we are using Nick Walke from Jamboxllc as well. He is great, and so easy to work with! He kept us right on budget and was so helpful.!
