Table Number Idea

So my theme is rustic, and my table numbers will be on small sliced tree stumps.  At first I was just going to do numbers.  But I really wanted to do something different and unique, so I came up with Michigan Lakes as table numbers.  What do you ladies think?  Has anyone done this before?

    I think this is a cute idea. FI's first initial is G and mine is M, so we are having a sort of GM theme.  Our table numbers will be the names of GM cars (corvette, cadillac, firebird, etc) and divisions (Oldsmobile, Chevy, GMC, etc).  I am buying old car emblems and placing them in picture frames....at least this is the plan for now....I got the idea from a magazine...probably TK!

    I think it's a great idea. Personally, I like it when table numbers have something to do with the theme or the couple. Our wedding was Detroit themed, so our table names were actually Detroit neighborhoods. Each table name card had the neighborhood and a couple sentences about it. I felt like it was a nice touch, especially for our OOT guests who don't know anything about the city.

    Super idea! I just wonder: How many tables/guests? If youre having a large wedding, it might be a challange for your guest to find their tables if they arent in a numbered order. Thants my only negative thought :)
