Florist and Transporation I did a year out- I got married in May so very popular and it was a Friday night, so for the limos it was prime time for proms.  The limo companies themselves told me to book a year out.

Ceremony musicians I was using the organist and singer from the church they told me to contact them like 3 monts out, but if you are using an oustider I would start earlier, like maybe 6-8 months?

I did the florist about 10 months out. I am not using the others so sorry I have no input there.

This is what we did. (I included everything for new girls who might be reading)

Church* and reception venue - a year and a half out. (We used the church's musicians, so met with them about two months before. But if you are hiring people separately, you want to line them up early)

Photo / Video and DJ - a year out

Bought dress - 10 months out

Booked limo - 8 months out

Booked hotel block - 7 months out (and mailed Save the dates at this time)

Invitations, Florist, Bridesmaid dresses, Tuxes - 4 months out (a little late for BMs)

Selected ceremony music, booked hair and makeup (went to a salon), and booked rehearsal dinner - 2 months out

    GL! HTH!

Florist was about a year out, transportation was more like 15 months out. We used the organist at the church for ceremony music, so I really can't help there.

I booked all my vendors about 14-18 months out. Once I booked the chruch and reception hall I booked any other vendor that was date related to get it done and out of the way.

We booked our florist and DJ about a year out.  We don't have separate ceremony musicians and we aren't doing transportation.

As far as booking vendors in general I feel like the sooner the better because a lot of people really plan ahead and you don't want to end up being unable to book the vendor you prefer because they are already booked for your date.
