Inexpensive Venue

I'm stuck trying to find a venue for my budget wedding for aprox. 100 guests! My total budget is under $5k, not including the dress. I'm willing to do DIY on invitations and some other projects..

If I can find a venue that allows you to use your own catering and not *prefered venders*, that'd be a life saver!

what about a hotel ballroom or something? i'm doing my own catering (everyone bringing a dish), but i haven't talked to any hotels yet. either that or you can even do it in a backyard where you can do DIY projects to make it look amazing

I agree, check into what buildings the city owns, as well as parks. They are generally very inexpensive.

Check out 310 Lakeside in downtown Orlando. Im doing a Sunday Brunch that includes ceremony on the private patio overlooking Lake Eola and a beautiful private banquet room for 4 hours and its only $16/person for venue AND food! Amazing prices, nice location and food is good too. Saturday night will probably cost twice that but still a fantastic price. http://www.310parksouth.net/
