NWR...Sad day at work, a reminder to cherish our loved ones

This morning at work, one of my coworkers in a different office recieved a call from her mother.  Found out her sister, who is 4 years older than her, I think late 40's had a heart attack and they were enroute to the hospital.  A short time later, we got a call from my coworkers husband saying that her sister didn't make it :(  They were really close too, lived a few miles from each other and just returned from a weekend getaway of tubing down the river and camping.  Times like these makes me think more about my loved ones and just want to give them a call to check on them, tell them I love them.  Live your life to the fullest everyday, even if its a not-so-good day, and cherish those nearest and dearest to you as we never know how long they will be with us.

  • I actually got a call a few weeks ago while I was at work from FBIL's girlfriend saying he had a heart attack and she rushed him to the hospital. He's okay now but he has had his 3rd stint put it. Scary... His heart is working only at 35% now. It will get stronger but he has to work at that. I'm sorry to hear about your coworker & her stister. Prayers go their way... Innocent

  • Thoughts and Prayers, I lost my dad the same way, 3 days after Christmas and no signs at all. It definitely gives you a new outlook on life and makes you appreciate the small stuff.
