  Seriously how many times can the same person ask in a month have you booked the church yet?
  
  Between my mom and my aunts I have lost count how many times they have asked the same question and received the same answer.  NO, I have not.  I cannot until exactly 1 year before the wedding.  I have an appointment for July 18th to book everything.
  
  Then I guess some how they forget they asked me the day before and ask again.
  
  Seriously do they not understand 1 year??  We just made a year Friday and I wouldn't have been able to book anything this week because the church administration has been on vacation.  I'm sorry that things don't fit into your plans but get over it and leave me alone.  I really do not feel like repeating myself 30 more times to the same person.

  Lol...*knock on wood*.. my parents and his know that we cant do anything until 6 months out..so I'm hoping they all just forget.

  Arrgh I hate my computer at the office it told me it didn't post the first one ohh well.  That's probably why my siggy hasn't and my ticker haven't updated.  I need to learn to update things from a different computer. 
  
  I don't think I could hold out for another 6 months for booking.  Why do you have to wait so long to book?

  It's a catholic ceremony and Im almost positive they do it along side of the pre marital counseling we'll have to take. I already talked to the priest back in March to secure the date so thats all set. He just said we dont need to sign anything until the 6 month mark.

  See that makes way more sense.  Unfortuantely with our Catholic church you want to make sure you do it a year in advance or else someone else will take it.  St. John's Cathedral here books up really fast and you have to make sure the bishop doesn't want that date first lol.  I'm glad you are penciled in with the priest already.  We are penciled in too so at least the only way we can loose it is if the bishop decides he needs this date for something before I get down there in 1 week to put my money down.

  i havent booked anything and nobody is asking maybe cause i havent told a lot of pple lol...  my main concern at moment is getting kid ready to ship off to college..

  I haven't openly publicized anyways.  I've told the important people in private that it's coming, but I was planning on using our STDs as an impromptu "btw, we're engaged." for people that we haven't told in person yet.  I haven't even updated my FB status yet because there's a LOT of people on there that I know will harass me about it that I don't plan on inviting and I don't want to deal with it

  That does make complete since. I wish I had the luxery of not telling everyone.  I love the idea of using the STDs for the announcement. I had the problem with mom being a big blabber mouth and I wanted to tell everyone before they heard it through the grapevine.
