Honeymooning in San Diego... Need transportation advice

Hi all, My fiancé and I are honeymooning in San Diego in June. We are staying at a hotel in the Gaslamp District. Most of the activities we are planning to do are in the San Diego area and easily accessible. However, we do have tickets to an Anaheim Angels baseball game. What is the easiest/fastest way to get from Sand Diego to Anaheim? We do not plan on renting a car. Thanks for any and all your help!!

  • You can take the trolley (http://www.sdmts.com/Trolley/Trolley.asp) over to the Santa Fe Depot and then get on the Surfliner train (Amtrak). The stop in Anaheim is at Angel Stadium. However, it is kind of pricey. It will cost you over $100 for two people, roundtrip, But if you're not planning on a renting a car, this is your best bet. The train ride itself is pretty pleasant and has some nice views (you go right along the beach for part of it). HTH!

</div><div>To be honest, public transportation in San Diego sucks. You're much better off renting a car.</div>

  • EPIC Limo is in the Gaslamp Quarter. They have reasonable prices. You should check them out:  www.epiclimobus.com/

You would be better off driving (price-wise) for the day, but if you dont want the hassle of a car, having someone else do the driving is more relaxing. Or if you are on a budget - public transportation (on Amtrack) seems like your best bet.
    Good luck!
