Honeymoon Booked!

We will be going to the Sandals Emerald Bay Resort in the Bahamas!! I'm so excited to finally have this booked, although it did cost quite a bit more than we expected. We decided for Lent we will both give up buying unnecessary things in order to pay for it; this way it helps us save and brings us closer together, plus its really hard already and so I think its a good thing for Lent!

Anyone been to this resort or going there for their honeymoon?

Jessica - We are going July 2-9. We didn't use a travel agent but I did make use of the little "talk to a Sandals agent" or whatever that pops up when you go on their website. I thought it was so annoying when I was just browsing but he was really helpful! He helped us with flight information and even had answers about the location of the Nassau airport. Our flight out of Grand Exuma into Nassau is pretty early on the day we leave, then our next flight isn't until late afternoon, so he let us know that its ok to leave the airport and enjoy the island of Nassau for awhile before our next flight leaves.

It did cost a little more than we expected but from the reviews on TripAdvisor.com, we decided to go for it. If you haven't looked at the reviews yet, I would definitely recommend it - it pretty much made our decision! I'll try to remember to tell you all about it, but if I forget please feel free to contact me if you have specific questions!
