  we're not doing gifts. we're paying for most of it ourselves so we won't really have much left.

  Same here. We are not doing gifts for each other, but for our parents. The HM is our gift!

  Your post prompted us to talk about this over the weekend.  We decided NOT to do gifts.  We're paying for our own wedding, so that will be a gift to each other.

  We ended up both getting Droids --- we both wanted phones so we made "wedding gifts" and excuse to get them!

  I did a boudoir session for him and made an album out of it and gave it to him at the rehearsal dinner :-) He was very happy. And he got me a kindle for the honeymoon.
