Anyone interested in a night thread? I'm very close to 3 months from my wedding and I am getting so excited.

The hostesses for my couples shower had their planning meeting tonight and I can't wait to hear what they have planned.

Anything going on in y'all's world?

    Hey, CJ! I hope you are going to enjoy the new job. How exciting! I can't believe you are biking it, my town is not biker or pedestrian friendly. I wish I could easily walk to work.

    Hi, J! Covejack- I'll take some of your motivation too. And, my shower will be awesome, so I am very excited. I just have some major stuff to get through at work before I can get to shower and wedding time. I can't wait for my work stuff to be done.

    Thanks Lucy! I'm getting married in Vegas at Planet Hollywood. I'm definitely excited about the wedding but, spending time in Vegas with my family and friends is going to be awesome!

    Aww! My parents just got two new kitties at their house and as far as I can tell they hardly do anything. They mostly sleep when I am there but they are soo super cute.

    Thanks Stage! FI and I have actually been to Vegas many times and have never been inside PH, so I'm always glad to hear good reviews. I'm sorry you are still sore from your fall. I hope you are healing nicely.

    I hate when that happens Stage. Apparently I've started turning into my mother and now take down the license plate numbers, makes, models, and VIN numbers of the cars that park next to my car. I'm sick and tired of finding dings and scratches on the new car I've had for barely six months.

    For the shower, I'm going to pick up a few party platters from Safeway (sandwiches, fruit, veggies, and dessert tray with cupcakes). I am planning on making strawberry lemonade from scratch, my sister's favorite drink!

    Unfortunately half of the guests don't speak english so I have to figure out an ice-breaker for everyone. The bride has asked for a name game to start things off. Do you have any ideas?
