Dress preservation cost?

I did a search and I only saw one or two posts about this and not many answers.

For those of you who had your dress preserved, how much did it cost?  My bridal salon does it, but I want to make sure the price is good.

I would love to know the answer as well as any suggestions for where to go.

JoBell.... how was your wedding?  Congratulations!

The wedding went very well, even with the blizzard!  Only 30 out of over 200 guests didn't make it.  I'm going to post reviews in a day or so, I have to gather my thoughts first!

I used Wed Clean. I believe it was $129, but it was quick and easy

I used WedClean too. They were $149 (just checked my credit card statement), and an additional $29 to repair three button loops.

WedClean and AffordablePreservation.com (a similar service that costs less) have you ship your dress to the Wedding Gown Preservation Co. in western New York. This is the same facility used by many bridal shops (but the bridal shops charge more for the same service).

I used Kellers out of Westfield/Plainfield, they did a beautiful job in a great box with see through window. It was under $175 but I cant tell you the exact amount... I forget.

Whew, I am so glad I read this.  I was planning to head back to my dress shop tomorrow to buy the Wedding Gown Preservation Co box - and they charge $250 for it there!  Guess I'll just be using Wed Clean instead :) Thanks ladies!  Gotta get my dress out of my closet already!
