Did you use holders

I am doing silk flowers and the arrangements look nice. The stem area needs to be covered before wrapping in ribbon all different sized and some very short. Did anyone use a holder? What would you recommend?

You could wrap them with floral tape.  It comes in a couple shades of green and brown.  You could also use a holder, but the foam tends to get messy.
  • Just cut the longer stems to the desired length that you wish them to be.  Don't be concerned about the shorter stems.  Then take floral tape to wrap the stems (from base of bouquet all the way around the bottom of the cut stems...if you don't cover the cut protion the metal wire inside the cut stems could be jagged and possibly scratch or cut you or rip your dress) so that the bouquet stays together.  Then use your ribbon to hide the floral tape and provide the decorative look you are looking for.
