Gorgeous! Yay! I knew you would find something. How are you going to accesorize the look? I probably would not do a necklace. just chandelier earrings and a funky, fun bracelet. Kohl's has great jewelry. Thanks for sharing with us.
Kohl's does have great jewelry, I second that! I actually found the earrings I'm wearing for our ceremony from there - I was shocked! But they were perfect and 40% off!
If you're looking for fun, funky jewelry that's trendy H&M has a lot of stuff, as well as Forever 21 (and they're both cheap!).
Thanks ladies....my butt was up all night looking for the perfect dress, so hope it will be just that when it comes in. I hate when I get something on my mind and I can't let it go, because it's usually not good the next morning....Super tired!!! LOL
@ Cincy....I was thinking about wearing chocolate shoes, but I don't know if that would work or not. I'm wedding colors are chocolate, burnt orange, and ivory,so I was trying to incorporate the colors into my attire. Plus, I want to stand out so maybe something popping. What color do you think I should wear.
@TamTam....I will definitely check out Kohl's for the accessories, but to answer you question no....I suck at accessorizing my look. I agree with the design of the dress I think a nice bracelet with earring is the way to go. I love the look you're pulling off for your e-pics and bridal shower.
I love getting stuff from H&M and Forever 21 as well, so that maybe an option. Do you ladies have an Charming Charlie they have beautiful accessories there too. They just opened one up in Little Rock, so if I don't find anything here I will wait until I go home. Columbus suck as far as shopping is concern especially when I loving shopping. Cincy that's why I love going down your way (some to be way). They have a lot more to offer plus I'm dyeing to get to that new outlet that opened late last year.
PB - I think chocolate shoes could be nice, although I would probably prefer a gold or bronze metallic shoe. I think the plain brown will look a little "blah" with that dress - plus I am a sucker for metallic shoes, so my mind always goes there first. LOL! But if you have a particular chocolate shoe in mind that you've seen online, post a pic and Tam and I will review it.
Here are some I saw online that I like for that dress:
You're right about plain brown having that "blah" feel and that is something I wanted to avoid. I wore some really cute nina ones for the engagement party that got so many compliments. I still haven't seen our pictures yet, so I can't wait until I go home next weekend.
Girl I love them all, but the Steven Gingyr one is calling my name. They're out of my sizes, so I look to find them somewhere else. I keep you posted on which ones I get.
You ladies are doing your thang....I love that last shoe too, but girl my FI will kill me if I keep purchasing all these expensive shoes for every wedding event. LOL
Listen, I know what you mean. I keep buying a bunch of crap too. Expensive shoes jewelry, you name it. I guess the shoes that I like were not Steve Madden, what did you call them Steve Gingyr. Yeah, those...they are too cute!
@ Tam: you were right, they are Steven by Steve Madden and the shoe name is Gingyr.
@ PB: I'm glad you liked some of them! I had fun perusing my shoe sites, especially knowing that I don't have to shell out any money if I find the perfect shoes! LOL! Yes, please keep us updated on how the dress looks once it arrives and which shoes you end up buying!
