I found a GREAT idea for me and my fiance

I found 3 Classes that the Boston Center for Adult Education is putting together! I just signed my fiance and I up, you should all do it!

 
Create Your Own Wedding Album: Using beautiful hand crafted papers, learn some techniques for creating your own one-of-a-kind wedding album. You’ll discover the multitude of do-it-yourself binding options available, as well as how to decorate your album to get a professional, finished look. You’ll leave this class with an acid free, inexpensive album to be treasured for years to come! Saturday, May 7th, 2011; from 10:00AM to 1:00PM; $46/$40Members/$15 Materials. Design Your Own Wedding Invitations:Are you a bride on a budget? Do you love do-it-yourself? Can’t find the perfect save-the-date or wedding invitations at your local paper store? Then this class is perfect for you! You’ll learn crafty techniques for making hip and unique wedding invites from start to finish. Your guests will be left gasping before they RSVP on the card you made yourself!  Saturday, May 14th, 2011 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM; $46/$40 Members/$5 Materials. First Steps: Wedding Dance Workshop: There's a lot more to your "first dance" than just keeping the beat and avoiding your partner's toes. Learn to choreograph a dance that’ll look great on your video, dazzle your guests, and be lots of fun for you! We’ll teach you the steps to the most popular wedding dances, and show you how to work with your dance space and move comfortably across the floor. You’ll leave with the confidence to let go of your fears and create a dance to remember! Only one registration required per couple. Please bring a CD containing your wedding song.  Thursday, May 12th,2011 to Thursday, May 19th, 2011 from 7:15-8:45PM & Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 to Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 from 6:30PM- 8PM; $95/ $80 Members/No Materials Fee. Registration is necessary.     That is a good idea, I love taking those kinds of classes!  We took a dance class and ended up signing up for the next session (on fiance's dime) because he enjoyed it so much.  Years ago I took calligraphy and will be using what I learned to address my own wedding invitations :-)

    We are also making our own album.  Our photographer is kind of starting out and is cool enough to include the CD and not lock you into getting certain prints with your package.  So we'll probably throw a bone her way and order a few prints but do the album ourselves and include some other photos taken by family and friends.
    Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
