Justice of the Peace recommendations

HI All!

I am new to theknot.com - and posting!

I was wondering if you have any recommendations for a justice of the peace.  We were trying to get Kathryn Blume, but she is booked. Any suggestion? Have you heard anything (good or bad) about Greg Trulson?

    I know I've been researching a lot on J.P.'s these are hear say recommendations not personal use. I may be having a different type of wedding than you but hope this is helpful.Laughing

    Yes, I have heard that she has a lot of energy and is creative (she has the theatre background). I don't think she can do my wedding, one of the productions she is in opens in October, but I would definitely recommend meeting her!

    Thank you! We are actually getting married in Brandon, VT, but I do think many jp's travel (at a rate, of course).

    A cool thing about Vermont is you can apply for a temporary JP license for anyone.  This is what my fiance and I are doing, we are having a close family friend who is charasmatic and a good (loud enough/enunciates) speaker.  If all else fails you could try this, a good way to incorporate someone special who might not fit logically anywhere else.  I believe it is around $100?
