    NYC isn't even on the list at all?  Methinks New Yorkers are over alcohol.  You know how they get--"Ugh, the Midwest is doing alcohol? We're SO over it."

    How in the holy hell is Boston not higher? The month of March alone (St. Pattys) plus the huge college population should put Boston right up there....

    Also, if you go to the big list and see the picture for Fargo - that was taken in the parking lot just across the street from where I work.  NICE.

    ETA - MSP is #11, and John Rauch (Twins pitcher!) is getting doused with beer.  Again, NICE.

    I guess in Portland we spend too much money on strippers to have any left for booze.  We have more strip clubs per capita than anywhere else in the country.  I'm so proud.

    Totally! Everytime I go down to Portland I am shocked at the number of strip clubs. They almost outnumber the Starbucks.

    Also in college I made sure to do my part in making my campus among the drunkest in the nation.

    Oh come on! Oregon has soo many breweries AND vineyards! We win statewide competition for sure.

    (BTW, all you Elfster SS ladies, I was the one who is from Boozeville and asked everyone  what their favorite alcohol is, hehe)

    How on God's green earth did Vegas not make the list?!  Hmm, DC didn't make it either, most of my drunkest years were when I lived in DC.

    Though I am glad to see that the city of my birth made the top three - yay SF!

    Imp - I was thinking the same thing!  Although I think all the activity in drinking mostly happens from the tourists, and maybe they were just talking about locals?  Even still.
