bahahaha  ok 10 lbs is not the end of the world.  If I only had to worry about 10lbs I'd be golden.  Exercise and eat healthy.

Start food logging/calorie counting. That will give you an idea about what you are eating know and how you need to reduce it and eat healthier. 70% diet 30% exercise.

  • I gained 30 pounds when I took on a new job, and it wasn't until I saw a picture of myself next to my super cute, super tiny future sister in law I realized how bad it got. You got 11 months to lose the weight and you can def. do it. Most importantly WATER. drink lots of it. I'm down 24 of my 30 excess pounds with a month to go for my wedding. Drinking water all day long def. helps (especially since I've been too busy to hit the gym). Most people snack out of bordem or confused thirst for hunger. Drink water before you snack on anything and you'll realize you prob. weren't that hungry to begin with. Then I decided what I could live without. I knew I couldn't give up the occasional scoop of ice cream or smoothie (my weakness) so I deicded what I wouldn't miss.
I gave up all fried foods, and chips and I def. felt better. Figure out what you can live without and drop it cold turkey. Then start exercising and you should lose the weight fairly quickly.

  • I just got back from a family reunion. My cousin has lost 25 pounds since January by doing weight watchers online. I have found a new app called Lose It! which helps me to record the foods that I am eating and maintain a healthy caloric intake. I am going to try doing this, while avoiding all alcohol and drinking TONS of water. I have about a year before my wedding, so I should be fine if I stick with it. My recommendation to you is to stay focused on your goal. Definitely do NOT starve yourself.
