Who does not have their invites ordered yet?

I feel like I'm so behind. We still don't have invites or flowers. Cake tasting this week... I have friends who are talking about weddings next year who have more stuff done than me. Am I alone?

I'm kind of between the two "Yes" options: I have them maybe 65% done? Lots of little odds and ends to do.

If you're not doing too much to them other than addressing and mailing, then I think you should be fine. Besides, I see a lot of disagreement between whether or not 2 or 3 months advance is correct. I'm going with 3 because my (and my guests', for the most part!) September is crazy (lots of other weddings), but if your RSVP date isn't until closer to the end of September, then you should be fine. Hang in there!

I've had mine for a while, but only because I bought a groupon for Vistaprint and had a limited time to use it. I am, however, very behind on getting addresses. For some reason, this has been one area where I am really procrastinating. I'm hoping to get many of our friends' this week, and we're visiting his family this weekend, so we should be in much better shape then where I am today. Although, that will lead to actually getting those addresses onto my invites...

When do you plan on sending out your invites? If you're waiting until August like many of us are, you still have plenty of time

I have my first proof from my etsy designer, but we haven't ordered them. We will soon though. I plan to send mine mid-August, so I'm not too worried. I haven't even talked to anyone about floral....although FMIL's neighbor has offered and has done great work, so that is probably what will happen. I've been yearning for cake tasting!!

We haven't ordered ours yet but we go in on Thursday to proof them. So we will most likely be ordering them then. We aren't sending ours out until early/midAugust. I think you still have plenty of time to get yours ordered.

I've had mine since last September when I started making them, i finally finished them earlier this year and then printed my inner and out envelopes a month ago. The only thing i have left to do is fix any errors (couples that broke up, wrong addresses) and print envelopes for those i didnt have addresses for, and order postage!

We have our invitations ordered but haven't ordered the enclosures yet. I want to double check on the correct wording of our entrees before I order the RSVP's and I think I will type up the information card and print it on heavy card stock to save a little money.

We've had our invitations picked out for about a month now(finished proofing them last week). We're ordering them this week actually, since I'm planning to order the save-the-dates, thank you cards and RSVP cards all at once.
I think you'll be fine, I'm sending out my save-the-dates during the first week of July(a little late perhaps but for most of our friends and family that'll be more than enough of a heads-up) and invitations are being sent out mid-to-late august so that everyone will have plenty of time to RSVP(Wedding is Oct. 13th)

We haven't ordered our invitations yet - I ordered a few samples that are sitting at the post office because I never get home from work early enough to get them. Invitations are next on my list... along with scheduling our cake tasting, figuring out when the men are wearing, starting a registry and working out ceremony music. It's starting to feel like crunch time!

I have them designed but we haven't decided what paper we are going to use to print on. We have a lot of work ahead of us.

I'm in the process of designing them, so I don't even have a final layout yet. I have to wait until mid July to taste our menu options, so I figured I'll just print it all at once right after that.

Done and Sent and have 80% replied already. being Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada (the weekend of our wedding) we wanted our friends and family to be well informed.

Nope. Had my first concept meeting with the letterpress shop today, will have first proof in a week. The shop has a 3 week turnaround once final proof is approved and I plan to address them myself, so I'm not terribly worried.

I don't have invites yet either! I live in a different state than the wedding is in, so there are a lot of unchecked items on my list. Luckily, I'm going there next week and can cross off a lot of vendor stuff (venue/menu, cake, flowers, officiant, meet with photographer).

I got a Vistaprint Groupon today, so I think that was a sign that it's okay that I've put it off, and I'll be rewarded with a good deal.

How far in advance are you all sending invites out? I'm planning on mid July for our Oct 13th wedding (with responses due by Sept 20).
