Flower girl tossing lilacs?

So I was looking at some freeze dried lilacs for the flower girl to toss.  But, I am wondering since they are not flat like rose petals, are they going to crunch or stick to the botom of my shoes when I walk on them?

    Why don't you have her use fake/ silk lilacs instead? I really want lilacs at our wedding, but we couldn't get the venue we wanted until after they're out of season. Been to a couple different craft stores to scope out the fake ones and they're decently looking, especially for something you're just going to walk on, lol. Plus no chance of stains and easier clean up!
