So I bought an off the rack dress at Wendy's in early May. The sales lady I worked with, Ann, was super nice and helpful. However, I had to leave my dress so the alterations department could tighten up some loose beads. What a mistake that turned out to be! It was supposed to be done in a week and after 3 weeks of not hearing anything I started calling to try to figure out what was going on. The alterations department rarely answers the phone so I left several voicemails. I did not get a call back on any of them. Then I called and talked to a person who had no idea where my dress was, who had it, what was being done to it etc. She was supposed to call me back. And again I heard nothing. This happened THREE TIMES. I was starting to get scared that they lost or sold my dress to someone else. My brothers fiance finally went in with a friend for something for her wedding. She had her friend distract the receptionist while she went and searched for my dress, which thankfully she found. They still had not fixed it or returned any of my calls. They told her they would finish it and call me that week. Apparently the lady working on it just decided she didnt feel like doing it and just let it sit. Two weeks passed and they still did not call. I finally had to call and tell them I wanted my dress NOW. So after getting mean with them I finally have my dress, which now has a dirt spot on the front. Grrrr.
Sorry this turned into a rant. It is meant to be more of a warning. This is not the first I have heard about their terrible alterations department so if you can avoid them do it at all costs!!
