  We looked into her when we  were first engaged, and yes she does cost a lot. Her photos were beautiful though.

  Julia was the photographer for my wedding in October 2010. Honestly, she is probably not the cheapest photographer, but she is worth absolutely every penny! From the consultation to designing the wedding album, she is extremely professional, easy to work with, and her work is really art.  Julia's talent is amazing and now that my wedding is over - I have absolutely no regrets about the money we spent.  We did not have a videographer and we pulled in the purse strings for other aspects of the wedding to make the budget work.  In the end, the day is over in a flash, but you will always have amazing photos to look back on.  Here is a link to my photos if you are interested

  I have never heard of her (but then again, I didn't look at Round Hill). But I saw you said you were in the beginning of searching and started with the list of vendors your venue gave. Just wanted to remind you, and every other bride on here, that you do not have to go with the vendors your venue names. That's why going to a bridal show and meeting with a bunch is a good place to get started.
  
  Don't feel you have to go with a photo / video / DJ person just because your venue mentioned them. Do your own research.

  wow, kelbelmoo, your pictures are fabulous.  i love her photography, I am just curious the range she's in.  do you know where her packages start?  some photographers won't disclose pricing until you've met and gone through a whole list of what you want.  I'm just looking generally.
  
  thanks, terriandjoe.  the thing with round hill, from what i've read at least, is that photography can be tricky there b/c the dancefloor/room is VERY dark.  i've heard that using someone familiar with the place is the way to go, but i will definitely look around.  i've heard that the shows are excellent and they have tons of raffles too.  any ideas of where info. for those can be found?

  I am pretty sure her packages start around $5k, but don't quote me on it, as we reserved her services over a year ago.  Also, that pricing includes the albums that she produces, which are amazing! We are still waiting for ours.  As I said in my previous post, I think that she is worth every penny and we cut $$$ where we could so that we could afford her.
