I will go first...

I am getting my invites ready, just gotta stuff and seal! also want to go find a great party dress. Also I hope be getting a call soon about my dress! and actually FINALLY get back into wedding excitement mode, kinda was getting burned out...hummm....Oh...and yeah, love my mom, but MAN she can drive me bonkers! I know she still is not completely sold on Vegas, oh well

I have most of the major stuff for Vegas done. Still need to do weddings rings, tuxes, and a limo for the strip tour. Started planning my AHR, have the location but that's about it. Going to 2 wedding shows in the next 2 weeks. Hoping to find my veil, garter, etc at one of the shows. Dress isn't supposed to come in until March 1, but I'm hoping it comes in early.

FI has designed the invite, we're just waiting on quotes from printers.

Not having any Bridezilla moments or parent issues. I think my FI wishes I would be a little more Bridezilla at moments becase he thinks I'm trying too hard to make everyone happy and not doing enough for myself.

Here's where I am on a few things --

* My dress is with Debi at Fit for a Bride. She is going to be adding sleeves for me, in addition to the usual alteration stuff.

* My invites and inserts are all printed. I just have to assemble them this weekend and drop them in the mail. Waiting on my stamp order from Zazzle to come in (hopefully today or tomorrow).

* Made our cake tasting appointment for the 23rd.

* Reserved a suite at MB for FI and I to use during our weekend. We live 15 mins from the hotel, but figured on splurging.

Still left to do --

* Order headband, earrings and ring dish from Etsy.

* Find shoes! Oddly, this has been the most difficult part of my planning

This was a big week for us. Officially booked Chapel of the Flowers and picked Regal package.

Finally decided on my bouquet (cymbidium orchids and roses). Can't believe I was so indecisive on that.

Booked Bentley & Wilson for photo tour
Reserved flights thru Southwest
Reserved units at Wyndham Grand Desert
Bought 2nd dress from David's Bridal (it was only $99) and too beautiful to pass up.

Mom is OK with Vegas wedding, at least she says she is. She is still upset I did not included her in dress shopping. She thinks we have the same taste, but not so much. She would have been like one of those PITA mons on Say Yes to the Dress. Mom is going to hit the ceiling when she finds out I bought a 2nd dress! Maybe I won't tell her.

Think that's about it for now.

I am having serious motivation issues! However this week I did book Lori White (Yay!) and get the wording finished on my invitations. I also ordered my hair piece (pic in bio) and ordered two possible pairs of shoes.

This weekend I will print and assemble invitations and order some fun vegas postage. I am also going bridesmaid dress shopping with two of my bridesmaids.

Hopefully it will be a productive weekend!

Yeah, I'm going to the Seattle wedding show and then some show that is at the Seattle Center this weekend. Not expecting the one this weekend to be great, but figured it didn't hurt to go look around.

I'm having a really hard time finding shoes too. I actually thought I'd have too many choices. I haven't seen any I like.

We're now 66 days closer to the wedding and I'm starting to get butterflies.

Making the final selections for the ceremony. Bought all my wedding jewelry last weekend and made my viel. Pic in bio.

Need to decide on my hair. another decision proving hard.

The new year has also brought me some motivation. I have ordered my invites and shoes (actually got these from amazon), and they both should be here next week.
My MOH bought her dress in her hometown. I also sent in my deposit to Lori White. I also picked flowers for my bouquet (cabbage roses) and sent a pic to my WC at Mandalay Bay for a quote. Lastly, we are planning on starting the registry process this weekend.

A little bit of wedding drama today actually. I am only having 1 attendent, my best friend since I was 5. She has been great planning a bachelorette party and bridal shower. Today my cousin called wanting to throw me a combo bridal shower-bachelorette party. Now I am not sure how to either politely decline her offer, or break it to my best friend that someone else wants to throw one. I am a little lost on what to do!

Invites are in the house need to address
Recpiont site and ceremony site are booked
Flowers for suite booked
Cake booked need to get deposit paid
catering booked
Makeup and hair booked
MOH dress is ordered and in but I'm worried she may not make it.

Still lots ahead to do. Excited and nervous all at the same time.

My dress came in and I bought my veil...but I don't have to go in for alterations until March. I also have my shoes! But to be honest...they're not that comfortable. Found that out while I was wearing them when my dress came in. So I'm on the look out now for cheap beaded/sparkly platform flip flops to wear after our pictures are done!

We received our printed invitation sample from cardsandpockets and I love them, but we just want to make a few adjustments and then we'll get C&P to print/cut our invitations/enclosures for our pocketfolds. I feel a lot of pressure to send them out ASAP, even though our wedding isn't until May 22. FI's parents want to find out who ISN'T coming so that they can bully us into inviting some more people they want to be there....ugh!

- buying the other 2 bridesmaid dresses
- flower girl dresses
- figure out if we are/aren't doing favours and what they will be
- finalize/sign contract for floral centerpieces with Pam at the Palette
- finalize/sign contract for our cake with Creations Bakery
- figure out transportation for strip photo tour

I'm starting to get a little antsy as we are getting married in 66 days. We still need to get our rings and order flowers. I also need to put our favors together and start breaking in my shoes. We are looking for somewhere to stay the night after the wedding for a little mini-honeymoon of sorts.

Is it weird that my dress doesn't need alterations? The only thing I need is to have the hook added for the bustle. Quick question: Where should I get this done and how much should it cost?

I'm also going to two bridal shows this month: the one at Mandalay Bay and the expo at Cashman. I'm really excited. Hopefully I'll find a bunch of stuff I didn't even know I needed

I have most all the big things taken care of (ceremony site, suite booked for reception, cake, photag, flights booked)

My sister and I are hopefully finishing my invites this weekend, that's if the MGM gets back to me because I'm trying to plan a meet & greet and I want this info in the invite. Which I'm planning on sending out at 3 months or a little after.

I've been searching for the perfect white dress for the meet & greet and other fun outfits for the trip

Need to figure out the transportation to and from the ceremony.

Starting to plan the AHR, which is more work than I wanted it to be...Ugh!!

I still have lots of DIY projects I'm working on, I'm doing them little by little so they don't make me mad!

Ceremony at MB VOTF (although I'm starting to question if this was the right choice)
Reception at Maggiano's
Dress is ordered, I have my final fitting in April then I intend to send it to Debi - Fit for a Bride by courier.
Flights and hotel booked.
Todd B&W and Travis Allen booked.
2 bridesmaid dresses brought, 1 to go!

Now I just need to get on to the smaller tasks like choosing flowers and the cake.

My only worry now is the number of guests that we're going to have. A lot of people who said that they were coming are now changing their minds. At first we were expecting about 30 guests, now it's probably going to be more like 15. I think that VOTF is now wrong for us as it seats 50 so it's going to look really empty with just 15. Don't know what to do???

Arrrrrggghhh!!

Awww! I think it will still look nice! but ask your WC if you can move it to the smaller chapel...this will also save you a lot of money! even though I loved the VOF, I just did not want to expand the budget to move it there. GL =)

(Which is unfortunate, because David's Bridal dresses would be so much cheaper & easier!)

Good thread!!

I am just under 80 days to go and I trying to get out of my planning vacation mode lol...

I need to still figure out my floral situation, transportation for day of wedding, videography. I need to order paper lanterns, ribbon... mmm I need to get groomsmen gifts I know what they are already just need to order, I need to take some stuff into be personalized, I need to reorder my shoes, find jewlery, get undergarments for dress then take dress into be altered. Waiting for invites to finish being printed... and having my bridesmaids come over next weekend to help stuff, and wrap ribbon on bubbles and attach the photocards to the bubbles. DIY stuff thinking about doing my veil bought the stuff just need to get it done I am just doing a super simple one. I am also bedazzling some black flip flops for the girls which let me tell you is a looooong task. So I am going to work on a pair either once a week to get them done. Which reminds me I need more bling for that. I need to decide on a cheap and easy centerpiece for the dinner!

Not so much any crazy bridezilla stuff just need to have the monies to finish up a lot of this stuff. I think that's about it though.. all the bigger things are taken care of I think... I registered this week

FYI I really hat ethe new desgin...

This first part of the year I want to loose 50-100lbs before I go dress shoping. We are not doing so well since FI has cancled our gym appts all week. Im pissed about that. However I am making cards to ask MOH and BM this weekend. I bought the stuff in OCT but never did it. I am right now having a difficult time trying to decide if we get married in Vegas which is what I want or rent a home in Maui which is what he wants. The only downside to Maui is FMIL. No one gets along with her, and wed have to pay her way since shes so far in debt and irresponsible!!!! UGH FI told me this am he doesnt want a big wedding, that I am wanting champange on a beer budget and going with the top packages. I have shown him places that I have dreamed of getting married that I know we could never afford, but seriously I was doing a $65 pp dinner no alcohol, and our ceremony is $1400. UGH!!!

Sorry that was long, but honestly I have lost all motivation for the wedding, was even considering puttin it off for another year.
