So my fiance and I got engaged two months ago, we had a place and last minute (when we were about to sign the contract) it fell through and we were right back at starting all over!
A month has gone by and no luck. We have a 5k budget, about 100 guests, our date is the weekend of July 9th (we're flexible on the day, could be friday, sat or sunday) and we desperately need a place that will allow outside catering (which rules out hotels and restaurants) in order stay under budget. Also, we would love to have a non-traditional place for our reception: we've looked at museums, art studios, galleries, etc. Some we've absolutely loved, but were taken or too expensive!
I'm starting to freak out and feel so overwhelmed, and our parents are starting to get really concerned too. Am I being too picky?!
Does anyone have ideas for a venue? Anything that could help the situation would be great!
