Hair Stylist Recommendation?

Hi All - 2 months to go before my wedding and my hair stylist canceled on me (lovely). Just wondered if anyone has suggestions for someone in the Lansing area (our wedding is in East Lansing on Sept. 7) that can do up-dos? Idealy I would like to get 1 or 2 stylists to come to the hotel, so we can do that/make-up/get dressed all together. If we have to go to a salon, that's okay, so I would take those suggestions as well. Thanks!

    Sorry to hear about your stylist.  DD had her hair done by Madison at Douglas J and was very happy with it.  Madison is not their normal updo stylist, but did an awesome job. Their normal updo sytlist also does a  great job.

    In response to PP, I was hoping to use Juleen to do my hair for my wedding when she was still at Changes salon in Haslett.  I heard great things about her work.  However, she was not available the weekend of my wedding, but I see now that she has opened her own business working from home and on-location. Check out her website, her prices are super affordable.

    In response to PP, I was hoping to use Juleen to do my hair for my wedding when she was still at Changes salon in Haslett.  I had heard great things about her work.  However, she was unavailable the weekend of my wedding.  I see now that she's opened her own business working from her house and on-location.  Check out her website, her prices seem very reasonable.

    I'm not sure if this is allowed, so sorry if its not and I'll take it down asap if it is..

    I'm a working licensed hairstylist and own my own onsite wedding hair, makeup and nail business with a couple of my salon coworkers and being a fellow bride-to-be (my wedding isn't until october) I know how stressful everything is, especially as things draw closer.  I also hate hearing how unprofessional some people can be, in the hair world and otherwise.

    If you don't find someone and would like to chat about me and a coworker doing it for you and your girls, let me know.
