NJ modern/clean/contemporary venues... need some help!

Having difficulty find a clean/modern/contemporary venue in Northern/Central Jersey. Looking for places  with a look similiar to Liberty House restaurant and stone house. Also, we are having a small wedding- 75 people, so hard to find a venue that's not too big and doesn't have high minimums. Nothing ornate or traditional decor, pls.

Liberty House didn't seem at all modern or contemporary.  What about Maritime Parc?  That place looked super modern!

Compared to most NJ venues, the Liberty House's look is cutting edge! Orange Lawn Tennis Club in South Orange has a clean look, and may be able to accommodate smaller events. Also in South Orange, there's an event space in SOPAC that you might want to look into. Maybe the Montclair Art Museum as well?

<div>Hah!  I understand what you mean about all the other Jersey venues!  What I meant is that Liberty House semmed more "rustic" in appearance.  Maybe I wasn't looking closely enough.</div>

I just found out about a restaurant in Morristown that has that same look and feel, and does small weddings. It's called Pazzo Pazzo and they have a great space... I've only been there for dinner and not sure how they'd set up the room, plus parking is painful (there is a garage across the street). If you decide to look at restaurants, check it out. Good luck!

We had our reception at the Hamilton Park Hotel which we LOVED and is very modern looking, as well as amazing food! We had a Saturday evening w/ a minimum of 125, so they may be able to work w/ you on another day. They also only do one wedding per day, which was a big deal to us as well.

I would look into the W in Hoboken (no minimum because they have smaller rooms) and I don't think you could get more modern than that. Also maybe try Waterside in North Bergen or Michael Anthony's in Jersey City.

If you are only ooking at 75 people you may want to conisder a restaurant as well as they might be able to work something out with you.

Waterside in North Bergen has no minimum for a Sunday evening wedding, if I remember correctly...

Giaspo, Pazzo Pazzo has really good food too!  And awesome drinks!  They have an outdoor area and there's a Hyatt right across the street too.  What a good idea for a small wedding!  Never would have thought about that.

Our friends recently had their wedding reception at The Embankment Restaurant in Jersey City, and it was really nice.

Check out Royce Brook golf club in Hillsborough, NJ (near Metuchan I think). They have a website and they do look just like in the pictures!

Late post, but 90 acres in Somerset is absolutely beautiful and can accomodate small weddings.  I am unsure re: price.  The food is fantastic. I had my engagement party there this weekend -- so attentive.  Also I have been to a wedding at the W in hoboken it was also fabulous -- highly recommend!
