Waikiki dinning

Does anyone know of a Restaurat that will serve us an intimate dinner on the beach? I want to suprise FI on our wedding day since we are eloping and aren't having a reception. I thought this was the next best thing.

    we did dukes upstairs...it was nice because its right on the ocean and tiki tourches are everywhere, food was great, but after 8pm or so, the crowd below got a bit noisy.  Im sure there are more "intimate" spots though.  Its a famous spot, and we enjoyed it alot, but its my only experience in dining on the beach in Waikiki.

    There are really high end restaurants just off the beach near The Sheraton.

    You may want to check with some of the hotels that are along the beach.  I know the Halekulani has some really nice restaurants with beach front views . Perhaps if you called them and explained your situation they may be able to help you out!

    I know this is late, but also check the Hau Tree Lanai. That's where I got engaged and we were one of three or four tables in the place. Its an open-air restaurant on the beach.
