Going to my first bridal fair

What should I expect? What do I need?
I still need a florist and band/dj, and I expect some of those will be there.

Well, I went with my MOH back in September and it was SO fun! I mean, really. Take someone with you that you're close with, but unless your FI really wants to go, don't take him. ALL of the guys that were there looked so miserable. My FI was so glad that he could go hang out with the guys instead =P

Only give your phone/name/email/etc to vendors you actually want to hear from. I gave mine out to everyone and got a lot of spam for a couple weeks. Some brides say their's continues for a long time, but the spam stopped for me after a little while. Also, EVERYONE will want to talk to you. If you aren't interested in certain vendors (for me it was photogs), just don't make eye contact! It works. Seriously.

Be prepared to say your wedding date 793,048,274,482 times. lol!

But have fun! You can get some fantastic ideas from a bridal show.

Haha FI is definitely not coming. My FMIL wanted to go really bad, so she 'invited' me, and then my Mom felt left out and wanted to come too. So it'll be us three (don't worry, we all get along)!

FMIL is nice and all, she's just... awkward. She's worried that FI's youngest brother is having sex at 15 now, but when she was saying it, she couldn't even say "sex", she mouthed it. lmao! Crazy lady! Plus, my mom and MOH know my style exactly and FMIL... well... I'm a more simple, no bling, no fuss type of person. FMIL kept picking out mantilla veils with tons and tons of lace. Hahaha! My FMIL is the exact opposite. She not only suggested I check out "The Joy of Sex" from the public library, she also told me all about the teddy she got as a shower gift from her first marriage. She also told me that edible underwear was amazing.

Lol morenachica just srsly made my day. " mouthed the word sex" lol lol soo good! Also remember to print off labels to give to the vendors so your not writing your info down a thousand times.
