I have my ceremony/reception location booked but honestly, I never really loved it. I loved it because it was in our price range, it was available and it
is nice for the cost, but I just never really loved it. My mom put the $500 deposit down and NOW it's 4 months to my wedding and I've found another place for ceremony and reception that I do absolutely love! Our date is still available so we wouldn't have to push the wedding back, it's still very affordable and it's just gorgeous. I really do love it! The problem: The deposit my mom put down is non-refundable.
If it were our money, I'd walk away, but I can't do that to my mom. She's not able to pay for much and I don't want to throw her money away. What should I do??? Everyone I've talked to just says "It's your wedding - do what you want" but it just doesn't seem that easy. Opinions, thoughts, help??
