Ceremony & Reception Places? Bell House??

I am looking to help my friend who lives in MI plan her KY wedding. We are looking for places in Richmond and Lexington. She doesn't have a set budget, but is not able to spend elaborate amounts of money either. Her guest list is about 150 people. We are looking for places that preferably do not make you rent every little thing from somewhere else (tables, chairs, linens, etc) and allows a cash bar. She is wanting an outside wedding for next September.

Does anyone have any information on the Bell House? Can anyone direct me to any pictures of weddings there?

TIA! :)

I think the Bell House maxes out at 100 guests, and even with that, you're spread out in different rooms for dinner.

I'm not sure if there's an outdoor ceremony space or not, but the Tates Creek Ballroom is pretty and has a very large indoor space.  Also, the Signature Club at Landsdowne was a top contender for us, but ended up being out of our budget.  We were doing an open bar, though, and that was really the deciding factor.  I don't remember if they do cash bars.

We ended up in Georgetown at Canewood Golf Course, and loved it.  Buffalo Trace in Frankfort also gets rave reviews.  I don't know of anything in Richmond.

There are also the wineries - Talon, Equus Run, and a few others, but they vary widely in cost and options.

The Bell House is TINY!!!! I don't think you could get 150 people in there.  The Music Difference has a massive list of vendors.  Here is the link http://www.themusicdifference.com/info/vendors/
Some of the places in Richmond are:
Acres of Land Winery, Arlington Golf Course, Boone Tavern, and EKU.  There are TONS of places in Lexington.

    GOOD LUCK!
