What do you think of this?

My FI and I are both future pharmacists and we were thinking of doing mini mortar and pestels as wedding favors. What do you think? I actually found them on a cooking website, but they are the same as we use in pharmacy.

Hmm... I wouldn't equate that with being a pharmacist, to be honest. Didn't know you used those.

honestly I had no idea what you were talkin about, I had to look it up.  Seems like its gonna be pricy and like above said, how do those relate to pharmacy?
I think you'll have alot left over and alot thrown away once home

I can definitely see how they correlate and they are actually useful kitchen items.  If you can afford them then get them.  I personally would love to get one as a wedding favor and I would enjoy how personal it is to the bride and groom.

I would love one for my kitchen for a decoration even if I never ended up using it. As it is I use my boyfriends on occasion. I think that is a great tie-in to your jobs as pharnacists. i would do one per coouple and maybe have an edible favor  in bags with thier names on them for anybody under 18.

What a fun idea!  My son and his GF are MDPhD students and I love some of the ideas being brought to these boards!  Test tubes, prescription bottles, and now the mortar and pestle!  Hearing your idea immediately made me crave guac, however, as our favorite restaurant makes it fresh to order tableside using one!

    Absolutely go for it!

I think they are a great idea :) Even if some people don't understand that they relate to your jobs, they are still useful kitchen items :)

Of course we use these in pharmacy! To make suspensions, creams, ointments...etc. They are essential to pharmacy. We were going to do a prescription bottle with candy, but these look so cute!
