Not planning on having a Bridal Shower

We don't need anything, but I'd like to have something similar to invite family to.  Any ideas for what to do.  I'm not going to register and I don't want any gifts.

    Just as a tip, it's considered rude to hold a party in your own honour.  Wait for someone else to plan something.

    Ditto PP.

    But there are no rules against just hosting a party and not making it about the wedding.

    If your BMs want to throw you a pre-wedding party, and you don't want a shower, suggest a bridal luncheon instead.

    I wasn't intending to throw one for myself lol I was just trying to come up with ideas for BM.  They have already asked me about bridal showers etc and while it is a little early to plan I just wanted some ideas for alternatives.  A bridal luncheon sounds great.
