reception site - stokes co/north of Winston

My wedding is scheduled for May 2011. I've just moved to Stokes County and I'm about 20-30 min north of Winston Salem. I'm looking for a reception site in the area.

I would love to have a venue with a great view of the mountains and both indoor/outdoor options. Prefer a B&B, vineyard, orchard--no country clubs. Can anyone offer any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks so much!

I heard that Tanglewood is nice and there are a few different options on the property.

Tanglewood has some really great spaces and it's a beautiful area but before you get too in to it, it was already booked for June 2011 when I called last month! Just an FYI!

Thanks everyone for your help! I would consider going into the Triad (towards Winston) for the reception venue, but I still want a place with both indoor/outdoor options, nice location, nice view.

If at all possible, I'd rather not make my guests go too far away for the reception. There are curvy roads up here and I don't want guests to get carsick!

So you already have a ceremony space?

Have you asked the people there where people typically hold receptions?

Try Shelton Vinyards in Dobson, NC or the Fairfield Inn of Elkin, NC both are beautiful locations. That's Surry County though. If you got the cash for it (starting at $3000) check out the Rosa Lee Manor in Pilot Mountian it's a wedding and reception venue with outside locations (wedding gazeebo facing the mountains and breath-taking fields and a covered reception pavillion) as well as a beautiful b&b style house you could use for indoor options.

Something a little less formal is Bellews Lake Marina.  I am a minister and performed a wedding there this past May.  Not sure how big a place you need but it was nice and very reasonable..$500.
