Today I'm craving dessert! What are your plans for sweets at your wedding? Will you have a cake? Will your groom? What about a candy bar? Cupcakes? Cake pops? The possibilities -- they are endless!

We are doing carmel apples for our favors and yes there will be cake! I think we are having a groom's cake at the rehearsal dinner.

We're just having a cake. A confetti cake!!! I'm super excited about it. It's my favorite kind of cake and has by default become FI's because if I'm making a cake it's usually funfetti. lol I think it goes nicely with our whole not your traditional wedding vibe.

We are having a cake and potentially a candy table. I am having a really hard time deciding on a design for the cake. I have 10 inspiration photos that are all totally different. Thank goodness we have plenty of time!
We will probably do the candy table last minute. With the smaller room size and larger guest list size we don't know if there will be room for it. Hopefully though because we both have a sweet tooths.

I'm pretty sure we're going to have a cupcake tower with a small cake to cut as the top tier. I had been planning a candy bar as favors, but I doubt it would fit in a convenient spot, boo. On the upside, we've decided to have caramel apples as favors!

Im doing a candy bar and im still deciding between a cake or cupcakes. Not sure if this counts as sweets lol but we are giving out diy limoncello in cork bottles as favors

I am not a sweet person at all! Our caterer had this AMAZING cake that was pre plated and so so so freaking good but they had a "fake cake" that would be displayed in the reception that we'd pose with for pictures and cut a small piece, but it was so insanely ugly that I opted to get a cake elsewhere. It looked like this...YIKES

Now that I will be going elsewhere, I wouldn like my cake to look something liek this!

We're doing a 2 tier cake with one tier to keep for our anniversary and one tier to cut into. We haven't made a final decision yet but so far we like cakes that have clean and simple decoration, like solid bands of red at the base of each tier and a small amount of red roses to decorate. We're going to have sheet cakes in the back to cut and serve. I don't think we'll do a groom's cake unless he really wants one. Maybe I'll just let him pick our dessert for our rehearsal dinner. We're doing a sweets bar for favors with mostly candy but it will also have cake pops and chocolate dipped pretzel rods. The sweets bar is my favorite part so far!

We are doing a dessert bar because FI doesn't like cake. We will have a small cake for pictures which in sure we will eat at some point and cupcakes for guests

Holy crap Ellie! We have the exact same inspiration photo for our cake! It matches the paisley lace on my dress and I want that one sooooooo bad!!

We're having a cake, but a small one. We're also having cookies, brownies and and a few pies (apple and pecan of course). We want a big dessert spread. We're going to supply brown paper bags that's we've stamped to personalize for goody bags. I'm VERY excited about this aspect of the wedding. I have a feeling people are going to be very stuffed at our weddng. ;-)

The package at the Down Town Club comes with a wedding cake, and a Viennese dessert room, which comes with miniature pastries, cake, petit fours, cookies, brownies, lemon bars, creme brulee, beignets, Belgium crepe station with flambee bananas foster and warmed brandied apples, mousse, gelato, chocolate covered strawberries, fruit bowl, gelato, coffee, cordial, and candy... it's one of the reasons I chose my venue.

Since there's a dessert room, I am doing the groom's cake as cupcake in a jar (deburnin - it will be funfetti, it's FI's favorite cake too!) as take home favors.

We are just doing a small three tier cake, the top tier we will save for our anniversary, the middle we will cut into and the bottom will be fake. We dont really like cake and didnt want to waste money one on. We will serve probably almond sheet cake with raspberry filling. We are doing a cookie table with chocolate cover fruit, cookies, cake pops, etc.

We are having a cake. I too have about a thousand cakes I like, which are all different. Our food package comes with a desert choice as well, so we'll probably pick an ice cream from that.

We aren't doing a sweet table, but I plan on putting piles of Hershey Kisses and Hugs on the tables (with a lame saying like Hugs and Kisses from the Mr. and Mrs. HA!) Our favor is also the escort card, so not everyone will have something, so I wanted to add something edible that everyone could enjoy.

It's open almost the last hour. I'm hoping to finish all the Meet & Greets by then, and spending the entire hour in the dessert room... it's also the reason I bought a corset dress, so I can let it out as my stomach (which I call my baby elephant) expands... I plan on gorging myself silly... it's making me hungry just thinking about it.

I am having wedding cake, but not having a candy bar or anything else - still deciding if we are doing a cake of a cupcake / with top tier cake .. I am also still deciding on a groom's cake - I am thinking I will surprise him - BUT not sure yet if it will be in the budget --- it would have to UNC / Panther's or Lego related in some way if I did a groom's cake though
