Post-Wedding Pic Advice--- HELP!

I got married on 8/20/11 and I just got my wedding pics back last night from the photographer and I'm really upset!!!! All of the pictures turned out great from her but there is one problem... not ONE picture is of me and my husband together posing to call our actual "wedding picture"!!! I don't know what to do, I've made the suggestion to my photographer to get back dressed up and mock our wedding day (my husband and me) and she's all for it but is that the right thing to do? I want pictures of us together actually looking at the camera posing, the only ones she has of us are during the ceremony, cutting the cake, first dance, etc. I need some advice on what would you do if you were in my shoes?.... Just keep the pictures of the wedding day you have and deal with it or would you mock your wedding day to have the wedding photos you've always dreamed of? I'm so confused and upset--- please help!

Your Photographer didn't have you take pics together? That is sad. You might have to get dressed up and do it all over I guess. I'm so sorry. That is my main say so to my photographer...

I think that's fine if you want to retake photos of just the two of you. Would the photographer charge you for the session? If you have to pay for it, I would consider a trash the dress / rock the frock session. I've seen more couples doing these together after their weddings and they look really cute!

Definitely get dressed back up and go take pictures with your hubby! Alot of girls are doing this now, and you really might get some awesome pictures that you are going to love a lot more than posed pictures at the ceremony sites out of this session. I am thinking some gorgeous outside shots : ) good luck!

My parents had this happen.  They simply took another photo that had included their parents and cropped it so it was just them.
